Is this the latest TREND???
I see a lot of African male celebrities wearing the FEZ HAT.
The Fez is a felt headdress in the shape of a short cylindrical peakless hat, usually red, and sometimes with a tassel attached to the top. The name “Fez” refers to the Moroccan city of Fez (capital of the Kingdom of Morocco until 1927), where the dye to colour the hat was extracted from crimson berries. The modern fez owes much of its popularity to the Ottoman era.
The colonial German police in Africa the askaris also wore the Felt Fez hat The red felt fez with black tassel was issued to all askaris for off duty or light duty wear in the 1920’s in Africa.
