Former Ivoraian president Laurent Gbagbo earlier today June 28th, in Mama:
“You have to thank my little wife Nady. You have to thank her because when you are with a woman, you say everything about her. when she does something good we must say it. Nady left Accra where she was in exile, to seek asylum in the Netherlands, to be in The Hague next to me and will always came to see me.
The Netherlands did not grant her asylum and it was Belgium that granted her asylum. So she was in Brussels, and from Brussels to The Hague is 200 km.
She blocked 3 days: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, to spend time with me. She did 400 km by car. This is what she did for me mainly.
She fed me too, because I didn’t have any money there. She was the one who gave me money every month; the food served in prison was never good (even if it is a white prison).
So we contributed ie(Charles Taylor), (Jean-Pierre Bemba) and me. Then they took away Taylor and two of us had to contribute. Bemba later left and I was alone … It was all Nady’s money so we have to thank her. “
