Taylor Simone Ledward, the widow of late actor Chadwick Boseman, is asking a court to name her executor of his estate after he died in August without a will.


According to reports, Chadwick Boseman’s widow filed a probate case since the late actor died without a will.The Black Panther star passed away in August after a silent battle with colon cancer. He was 43.

Taylor Simone Ledward filed the case yesterday in Los Angeles and is requesting a judge name her administrator of the state with limited authority, Page Six reports.

According to court documents, Ledward filed a probate case in Los Angeles seeking to control Boseman’s assets. His parents, Leroy and Carolyn Boseman, are also listed on the documents, which show the estimated value of Boseman’s estate as $938,500. Per the paperwork, a hearing date has been set for November.
